I used this pack of Optimum Care Salon Collection Deep Conditioning Masque that I apparently bought and forgot all about because it was under plenty of things in my drawer. Since I could skip heat and let it set under a cap for 15 minutes I just opted for that route. The front of the package says boosted with ceramides and coconut oil and I do remember quite a few sites touting the benefits of ceramides so I figured at the worst my hair wouldn't notice much of a difference post wash out. Well I was wrong all around. I first have to say that it was tingling almost the entire time I had the masque on my hair. And after washingit out of my hair did that extra clean rub noise that happens when you are cleaning. That feeling of really great slip. Oh it was nice so I may invest in a few more of that.
Air dry was on tap again and then added all of my normal leave ins with the addition of The Great Detangler for Taajiah Walid. At this point, can't tell if it really made my hair easier to detangle because again it's only been two weeks. Let me give a more thorough review in like two months. It smells fantastic though so for no other reason I'll keep using it on wash days for now. Finished everything off with the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Serum and now my roots are tied down with a scarf while my ends are free. I may or may not curl more than the ends later but for now I think I'll probably just tuck the ends under and go to sleep. Or I may try to BUN. When I was grabbing my hair up to do the prepoo I was surprised by how thick the pony tail was--benefit of being a few weeks out from the relaxer. I'm a happy kid now. Anyhoo behold the photos below.

This part happens on its own. I don't have to a thing at all and it reappears.
